Multidisciplinary Student Success Center Assistance:
To prepare for the assessment tests, students can go to the Multidisciplinary Student Success Center at the PCC campus. An informal evaluation is provided which can help students determine preparedness for the math and English assessment tests. After this initial evaluation, each student receives individualized assignments and instruction tailored to his or her learning style. These self-paced assignments will help students develop basic math and English skills necessary for success. Faculty, tutors, instructional aides, and computer programs (PLATO) are available at all times to assist students with problem solving. The course is free, non-credit and open-entry/open-exit, so students can enroll or exit at any time.
